How tuition works

We don't print tuition here, because it depends on your child's age and the schedule you choose. Here is what sets it and how it is paid.

  • Tuition depends on your child's age and on the schedule: two mornings, three mornings, and whether you include lunch bunch. Our figures are on the enrollment page, and we go through them with you at the tour. Co-op membership is separate from tuition and is met with your family's duty hours; the plans are below.

    • Your child's age

    • Two or three mornings a week

    • Lunch bunch or not

  • Registration

A registration fee opens your family's file and covers the forms and the first set of materials. It is due when you enroll, and the enrollment page shows what it is.

  • Holding a place

A place is held when we have your enrollment form and the first month's payment, which counts toward tuition. When a class is full, families join the waitlist, and we offer places in the order families joined.

    • The enrollment form and first month hold a place

    • The waitlist is by age group and schedule

  • Billing

Tuition is billed monthly and paid through the enrollment page. If another arrangement would help your family, tell us at the tour.

  • Help with tuition

Ask us whether state child care assistance works with our tuition. We will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do, and we would rather you ask before you apply.

  • Siblings

A second child in the co-op is handled differently, because the family's duty hours are for the family and not for each child. We explain how it works at the tour.

  • Withdrawing

We ask for a month's written notice before a child leaves, so that we can offer the place to a family on the waitlist. The membership agreement says what happens to a month in progress.

  • Uniforms, costumes and other costs

Outside tuition, a few costs exist: lunch bunch, the materials for the year, and the snack share. Each is named on the enrollment page with what it covers.

    • Lunch bunch

    • Materials for the year

    • Snack share
